Ratti Entertainment Inc. has created a martial arts feature film franchise entitled “Black Salt” for worldwide distribution which will be shot in China and the U.S… Investors who participate in this film project will share in the profits of the whole distribution chain, and not just the domestic returns provided by most Hollywood arrangements. Our goal is to create a film with a new backwards approach method which is nontraditional from the Hollywood film process but is drastically needed in today’s business environment, based on changing technology, piracy and the new global economy. This backwards approach method consists of first developing the multi-merchandising product lines (apparel, video game, animated cartoon, comic book, toy, trading cards etc.) Then it is equally important to launch a strategically grass roots marketing and promotional campaign to create a consumer demand, loyal customer base and multi product revenue streams for the film before it is even made.
The Black Salt franchise consists of four parts which is a feature film, video game, animated series and merchandising. This film has positive role models and will have a PG-13 rating to capture a wider target market. The revenue streams would be generated through:
· Box Office Domestic/Foreign · DVD · Cable · Network Television · Syndication · Movie Soundtrack · Video Game · Comic Book · Apparel · Kid Accessories (Toys, Lunch Boxes etc.)
Ratti Entertainment Inc. has made a substantial equity investment into the project to cover the development phase. This includes budgeting, scheduling, script rewrites, business plan, website, internet marketing, grass roots promotional campaigns, apparel line, trading cards, video game design documents, comic book, animated series layout, toy sculpture input and Company over head expenses. After the funding is in place, the film project is scheduled for 8 weeks of preproduction, 10 weeks of principal photography and 15 weeks of post-production, totaling 33 weeks from start to finish.
Gliding across the Pacific, the Asian martial arts have become part of the mainstream of American culture. Martial arts are back on its cyclical resurgence like it was in the 70's and early 80's. Today there are an estimated 20 million practitioners in the United States and another 50 million throughout the rest of the world. The martial arts industry generates annual revenue topping the 1 billion dollar mark. With the explosion of mix martial arts (UFC) and more martial arts styles being added to the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in China, the number of martial artist will double in the next 5 to 10 years. . Martial Arts and action films that involve a plot line from the east and are partially filmed there adds authenticity to the film and attracts publicity because of China’s current dynamic position in the world. It also greatly expands revenue and distribution potential, Chinese people love watching foreign martial arts films shot in China. The Monkey King grossed over 100 million dollars worldwide.

This group comes to us directly from within the entertainment industry. The expertise they provide includes domestic distribution, foreign distribution, pre-production, production, post-production, directing, sound and without exception every aspect of the motion picture business.
The important point to remember about this project is that we have set this up as a series of cross-promotional campaigns. This will also attract more customers to our products, sponsors to our brands, investors to our business model, and actors to the film.
